The box in this listing is made of solid walnut and is not a stain. This is the natural beauty of walnut wood with only a non toxic oil applied and then sealed lightly.

It is not an import and is handcrafted in USA in Tennessee.

Two first names in a script font is laser engraved on the front of the box along with a date.
A beautiful last name monogram letter is engraved on the lid.

* Please understand that not all wood is the same.
Every box is different with different shades of walnut and different grain. No two boxes are ever the same.

* We make every box one at a time and we are only two people. Because of this, it does take a bit longer to produce and we do that one at a time in the order that they were received.

Measurements are :
Outside measurements are 16 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/2.
Inside measurements are 14 1/2 x on sale 3 3/4 x 3 3/4.
This box is well made and is thick solid wood.

At checkout, please leave us:
1. Two names and date for the front of the box.
2. Last name initial for monogram on the lid.


Just in case you have not heard about a wedding wine ceremony...it's really simple but yet so romantic.

You and your bride or groom simply write love letters to each other a few days before the wedding and seal them, not letting the other read the letter.

During the ceremony a bottle of wine is placed inside along with your love letters to each other and then the box is sealed by locking the two locks at that time.

You also decide on the date or anniversary date that you want to open the box, whether it is 1 year, 5 years, 10...etc.

You then open the box and open the letters and drink the wine on that date that the two of you have set together.

It is such a significant and romantic way to remember how you felt about each other right before your wedding day and hopefully on that date...you still do.

Should at any time before that date that you feel there is a need to open them early, then who knows? Reading those letters could save a marriage.
