I have been making these rare hard to find solid wood frames for many years now and many have been purchased for display in homes, restaurants, nature centers and art displays throughout the country due to the natural rustic simplistic look of the frames that do not take away from the item being mounted..
Frames are custom made of 100% solid rustic wood with a dark ebony stained finish.
This is a great custom framed item for any home, restaurant or sports bar decor.
Deep profile frames listed have a large total size of 12" x 22 x 1 1/2" deep x 3/4" front with a complete original 1st Edition The Denver Post Special Section (HAT TRICK) and Sports Page 16BB ( 16 WINS TO THE CUP) dated Thursday June 30, 2022 mounted with all other sections stored. Frames have thick 1/8" Acrylic with acid free foam board backing.
The cedar flat Shaker style front of frame is 3/4" wide and 1 1/2 thick.
No hardware needed to hang these deep profile frames - position and level on wall, draw a pencil line at top of frame on wall, add 2 nails and hang.
Frames have a dark ebony stained finish with no sealers added to bring out the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. No two frames are identical in texture due to the natural characteristics of the solid wood used. Texture of frame may vary from pictures on sale shown due to the natural characteristics of the wood used. The natural solid rustic wood can have up to 4 different shades when staining is applied. All the natural imperfections of the wood is left in to add to the rustic appearance of the frame. Please note that newspapers mounted are original and are not perfect as photo copies or reproductions would be. All original newspapers can have press folds, press wrinkles and some color variations due to printing presses used but will have no tears or rips in papers.
