Blue on sale Series #4

Paintings included here are from on sale the "Blue Series", started in August 2021. The paint is poured, brushed, removed, diluted and sometimes added to in incremental layers. For me it is a return to a mode of working that I engaged when studying with Kaji Aso at the Boston Museum School in the 1970s. His weekly crits, held in a relaxed tea ceremony style, were about the appreciation of space, form, translucence and nuance.

Choose two! They enjoy keeping each other company.
Not framed, but sides are clean and they are wired for hanging.
They will be signed when ordered.
