Vintage Uncas Sterling on sale Silver Cameo Marcasite Ring

Uncas jewelry company has been around over 100 years--its sometimes hard to on sale date their jewelry as they recreated pieces over the decades.

I do think this ring is an earlier example-somewhere around 1920-1950. The estate that it came from dated to that timeframe. The shell cameo carving is done so well. The frame is encrusted with marcasite. It is a beefy ring measuring over 1" in height and .75" wide at the front. The shank has a pattern all the way around and is .25" tall. Uncas hallmark and sterling is found inside the shank. The current size is 5.5 but it can be sized just message me. It would lose some of the pattern on the shank once sized.
