DETAILS OF THIS ARTWORK :
Inspired by my artistic trips over the Mendip Hills, capturing the beauty of the wonderful landscape. This scene is taken from a view on sale where I usually stop for a meditative break. The tree on the far right almost looks like a 'ghost-tree" , standing alone in the landscape, leafless and white in the strange light of an Autumnal day.
My other watercolours of the Mendip Hills with dried seed heads and grasses, were inspired by this area where I stopped to take in the lovely view. This trip leads me nicely through Wells and then to my favourite place to visit, the town of Glastonbury in the Vale of Avalon.
