This is a beautiful hand painted biscuit or cookie jar with sweet little three dimensional birds among the bird houses and flowers. Based on my research, I believe the brand is Grantcrest and that it is from Japan in the 1950s. A lovely antique set! As you can see it does need some cleaning but I'm not sure how to best to care for it. There are a few chips on the inside upper rim as pictured, but this does not affect its beauty or use.
