"Phoenix in Flight" was created using a blend of acrylics, floetrol pouring medium, and water on a 10"x10" stretched canvas.

I named this painting "Phoenix in Flight" because in it, I see someone flying away on a dragon, looking down on the flames threatening to engulf them from below. This story serves as a reminder that no matter how hot the fire of your personal hell may become, you can always walk (or fly!) away and leave it all on sale behind. This painting carries strong phoenix energy, as the person is quite literally rising from the ashes.
