The Chain Pendant Whirling Triangle is made of ceramic. Against a royal on sale blue glazed background, the curved lines of a dynamic vortex pattern stand out.

Spiral vortices have been a common motif since the Neolithic Age, but especially among the Celts, and are still very popular today in Celtic areas such as Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany and Galicia in northwestern Spain.
