What would have been a simple white runner is now patterned with all of the natural bits this sheep acquired while living her best life out in the field!

DESCRIPTION:
This exquisite sheep friendly mat will soon become your favorite home accessory! It has been artistically designed & made with Gypsy's Alpaca wool and Gabriella's longwool locks.

All of the wool used in the making and designing of this mat was shorn for their pleasure & yours as they are both alive & well, happily roaming the fields on their small family farms.

THE PROCESS:
I gave myself artistic liberty when designing this mat & incorporated all of the bits & pieces of field grass that I found intertwined in the locks. The result is a mat that expresses the natural beauty of the wool. The field grasses add an earthy pattern thst is unique & beautiful! Truly one-of-a-kind! Because I use fleece instead of processed fibers, the individual character & texture of the sheep's locks are artistically apparent which adds an lovely texture and color nuances.

DECORATING IDEAS:
I've sized this mat for a wide variety of uses as such as:

*Table, kitchen island, desktop

THE PROCESS:
Felting is a labor of love with each piece being designed & artfully crafted entirely by hand. The end result is undeniably lovely and because of the hand made nature, you can be assured that no two mats will ever be the same. In fact, they will assuredly be "imperfectly perfect" with all of the characteristics of the natural wool emerging in each carefully designed piece. That, to me, is what makes each mat such a beautiful art piece for you to both use and enjoy!

PLEASE NOTE:
The wool & locks I use is purchased directly from & supports small farms & shepherds. You will inevitably find bits of hay or wild vegetation occasionally intertwined within the felted layers which adds a unique artistic & organic quality to each hand designed piece.
