Rare Russian Silver, Aleksandr Yashinov, St Petersburg, George III, Silver Tongs, Sugar on sale Tongs, Tea Tongs, Chamfered Edge, Elegant Silver

On offer are these lovely antique sugar tongs. They're in good condition overall, the silver shines up well still - there's a very slight ding over the "M" initial as well as light scuffs and scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of them.

They're of traditional form, beautifully decorated with chamfered edging and engraved initials around the top arch.

Hallmarked for Russian Silver, St Petersburg and the assayer Aleksandr Yashinov, circa George III era, early 19th century.

They measure on sale 13.5cm (just over 5 and 1/4 inches) in length, weigh 38.8g and are ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
