Vintage Tony on sale Lama #8025 Black Label Lizard Skin Cowboy - Western Boots Size 10D

Vintage Tony Lama's El Paso Teju lizard boots were made in the Black Label period and are the darling of collectors and boot addicts as the workmanship and quality produced in those days were unrivaled. Each pair of boots was made by hand in those days in El Paso, and the materials were unsurpassed as well. I was told by the archive department at Justin Boots (Justin purchased Tony Lama in 1990) that these boots were in line for manufacturing from 1977 to 1985. I contacted them because I was unable to locate a size stamped inside. These boots were either never stamped or the size has worn off. They were able to reveal that they are a “D” width. They looked to be a on sale size 10 so I had a friend, who wears a size 10, try them on and they fit like a glove.

In excellent vintage condition. No cuts in the leather, scrapes, scratches, or cracking to side piping. The Heels have been replaced; the soles are intact but scuffed up as they should be for their age. There is some darkening of the leather on the vamps from environmental exposure but when worn, it won't be noticeable while wearing jeans or trousers. These boots are broken in, not anywhere near worn out. Still a very handsome pair of boots!
