The stone is securely mounted onto a slab of unfinished, rustic hemlock wood, which measures 5" wide by 8" high, and is about 1" thick. The painted stone measures 3" by 4". Handcrafted with care entirely by myself. I sanded the wood just enough to knock off the real rough spots, but left the raised grain and any knotholes intact. The edges are rounded for an aged naturally worn look. I use professional quality acrylic paints. The painted image is treated with several coats of a UV protector to help keep the colors bright and fresh. The stone is surrounded in outline by an adhered length of natural sisal rope. Four metal stars accent the corners.

Designed to be very rustic and patriotic looking without red, white, and blue colors you may not want in your room. Comes ready to hang with an attached leather string.
