Amethyst stunners, these classic vintage 1970s eyeglass frames are in deadstock condition which means they have never been worn, lensed or used in anyway--ever! Under-appreciated when they were first crafted, their stunningly singular dark amethyst and black mottled hue has taken time, like a fine wine, to be truly appreciated. For those who want something one-of-a-kind and know how to spot it.

Condition: DEADSTOCK vintage condition – these glasses have never been worn or lensed and will be as new to you as they day they were made over 40 years ago. While they are in near perfect condition, please anticipate minor scuffing and slight (and expected) minor warping due to their age. All of these small flaws can be entirely corrected through common heat treating and buffing when lensed.

All of our glasses are guaranteed “optical ready” which means they are ready to have your own eyeglass or sunglass lenses fitted by a professional optician!

With all of our glasses, if these are for personal use we recommend replacing the lenses with your own prescription at your local opticians. All glasses “settle” to their owner's face, so we always recommend to our vintage eyeglass customers to have a professional optician help adjust the glasses in minor ways to suit their particular construction.
