Mixers Road Guide and Strip Maps 1926 , “ A book of routes, tours, and points of interest for New York State, New England, Lower Canada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Southern States and Florida”. This is a really cool and interesting piece.
There is a “ skeleton chart” of the routes on the inside of the cover . It's really wild to see there was really only one road or route to get anywhere. There are instructions for how to read the maps. The maps/routes are listed by city/region. There is a good portion of the book dedicated to awesome ads for hotels, restaurants and on sale tourist attractions. It's worth it just for that. I found quite a few places from the city I was born in that I never heard of and are long gone. Great historical piece.
It has no page numbers, I would estimate at least 400-500 pages. The book is in great shape , it has been used and loved. Binding is good with no loose or missing pages that I saw. The cover has wear and a bend going vertically. It measures 9” X 5”, 1 1/2” thick
