Hardback with red cloth covers - no dust jacket - 181 pages - illustrated with black and white line drawings.
Dimensions approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" or approx. 14 cm x 22 cm

Please see photos for Contents pages. Provides guidance on the cutting and making of women's coats and suits (i.e. 'costume coats' and skirts).
Please note that this edition is less lavishly illustrated than the first (1930s) edition. It has a more utilitarian 'vibe' in keeping with the postwar era of austerity and rationing.
A relatively scarce and highly collectible volume.

In good condition. Some wear and tear to cover - a few scuffs and scratches, some discolouration/staining in places, spine is faded/discoloured, some bumping to corners, a couple of small nicks/dents to external edges, etc. Light vertical creasing to back endpaper. General age discolouration/tanning throughout, with heavier tanning to endpapers and cover linings. But otherwise good. Binding is tight. No loose pages. Hinges are sturdy. Internal pages are very good with no major flaws - no stains, tears or annotations. The pages do not appear to have been handled a great deal. Please see photos for more information.
