The custom sterling silver cat rings with colored cat's eye glass stones are hand crafted by me from a wax pattern, individually cast with the "lost wax" technique using 925 sterling silver, and have a setting designed to fit a 6 x 8 mm glass cat's eye stone. A finished cat ring with a light blue (#7) glass cat's eye stone is illustrated in the pictures as an example. A picture in the listing also shows the numbered options for the colored cat's eye stones. The rings can be made in sizes "6 to 10" in US whole and half sizes. Please make sure the ring size is correct and if you are uncertain I recommend you order the "ring sizer" listed in my store before purchasing.
The ring will be custom made so please allow me 3-5 working days in addition to mailing time. The pictures illustrate the raw wax pattern and casting procedures. I spend about 4-6 hours on each ring at the bench preparing the wax pattern, investing, casting (burn-out of the wax pattern before casting takes an additional 1.5 hours), sizing the ring to your size, finishing and polishing the ring, and finally mounting your selected stone. I only have seven (7) castings to sell at present and am not sure if I will make any more since they are quite labor intensive. The ring weighs approximately 5.5 grams after finishing. Truly a unique ring especially for people who love cats or just like the ring!
When ordering, please specify both the number/color of the stone from the listed picture and on sale the desired exact ring size. I do have other 6 x 8mm cabochon stones so if you want a different stone than what is in the picture please message me. The ring will be sized and finished with your selected stone, delivered in a gift box and ready to wear or give to someone.
