Product code: Hot Wheels Railroad on sale Ironhorse gift pack
From the Hot Wheels Railroad series of the early 1980s this is one of the hardest sets to find. It sold only as a 3-piece gift pack Circa 1983 called The Iron Horse steam engine gift pack and represents the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe steam powered iron horse locomotive with coal tender and black roof caboose. The Red Caboose was also available in other packs with an unpainted roof but as far as on sale I know the black painted roof is specific to this set. This example is in overall Fair used condition with minor wear and tear to the paint details around the edges. The clip on the back of the coal tender is broken off so it does not attach to the Caboose. The Caboose has a push button function with a tiny figurine who walks out on the back platform when pushed. It still works. All of the wheels roll properly. The track pieces are for display only and are not included.
