“Nostalgia”

The inspiration for this piece again comes from Mother Nature. Specifically, the grain of wood. I love mimicking these on sale patterns, adding different colours. This time I chose brown hues.

The paper is measured, cut and rolled by hand. The rolls are then treated with a water based sealer for protection and carefully arranged and secured on the canvas, which I painted dark grey. I use only industrial strength adhesive with all of my work, to ensure strength and longevity.

There are D rings and wire added to the back, so it is ready to hang.

To protect the integrity of my art and to prevent fading, please do not hang in direct sunlight.
