Sphinx is a British Company founded in 1948, they made pieces for famous design houses, such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales and Kenneth J Lane, to name but a few. They are always well constructed and beautifully designed. This circular brooch is in a very distinctive Sphinx design. This brooch looks like an exotic flower in beautiful peacock colours. The gold tone brooch has been set with marquis shaped crystals in bluey/green with an aurora borealis coating. Measures 6.7x5.5cm on sale
