1940s Hand Made Rhynecliffe Necktie with the Dots, Vintage 4.5" Wide Tie, Rust Taupe Geometric on sale Mens Rayon Tie, Checkerboard Jacquard Weave

We're guessing it's rayon satin, but it has a wonderful feel and looks like it's never been worn. "With the Dots" refers to two felt on sale dots sewn on the underside, presumably to guide the wearer in tying it in the correct position.

Print advertisements found online for this brand date the tie to circa 1949.

MATERIAL: No label, feels like rayon satin.

CONDITION: Lining slightly yellowed, but otherwise excellent.
