The "Para" company, founded in 1910 by Paul Raff in Pforzheim, won an international award for its watches in Paris in 1937, then produced watches for the German army in World War II, and was bombed and destroyed by British planes in 1945. (In 1948 he returned to production at a new location and in 1956 he received a new world award in Brussels)."Para Parat" watches were part of the famous part of "Deutsche Uhrenkooperation PARAT" (apart from "Parat Parat", there were also Stowa Parat, Osco Parat, Arctos Parat and Berg Parat – examoles on the photo No.6)…The watch which I sell is one of the beautiful examples of "Para Parat S" mechanical from 1960, gilded model with very interesting markings on the dial - 6 and 12 are represented by numbers, 3 and 9 are represented by dots, while other hours are represented by markers with sharp points towards the center… beautiful specimen of an old mechanical with a very high quality mechanism "Osco 1060"… the watch is working good, there is a new bracelet on the watch… watch which I sell is “Para Parat S” watch on the picture No.1- No.5 (picture No.6 is just used like a example in the explanation of my text, and that watches I do not sell)… a specimen for real collectors of old watches ... .watch is not new,it is old specimen of watch, and have normal trace of use (I don't know if this is seen on the photo because it is hard for photographed-many shadow and shine reflection)…this watch is from my personal collection, and you can see my other watch -also from my personal collection....
VERY , VERY IMPORTANT :
ABOUT SHIPPING - Because of the worldwide epidemic - National Post in my country one period time was not working to delivered shipments via shipping economics (slow but cheap way that most customers use when making a purchase). In that period time I was send all watches exclusively with FedEx which was normally functions all time, and that is the fastest way of delivery from my country and cost mostly 45 dollars (for some countries it is more expensive) with the possibility of combined sending (maximum 3 watches in one package)... Starting from now, National Post in my country again deliver shipments via shipping economics but unfortunately only for 81 countries (for now, it is so, and it is expected that it will soon deliver again to all countries)… the countries for which it deliver economic shipping are USA,Italia,Canada,Austria,France,Germany,Great Britain, etc.,and you can see the complete list of countries in the last photo (example, for some countr ywhich can not delivered economic shipping I can not send watch for 20 USD if I must send with FedEx,etc.)…Thank you for understanding, and please before you give a bid check list for economic shipping (on the last photo),or ask me on the message.Thank you again, and I hope the successful cooperation.
When I send watches, I try my best with a document to protect the buyer from any additional fees and customs duties, and mostly customers in many different parts of the Worlds get the package at no extra cost… however, if the country in which the buyer is located has a law which, upon importation, charges from the buyer of any customs duty or tax, please understand that it does not depend on me, nor does it have anything to do with me and I cannot accept the complaint or refund of the money to the buyer because the customs in his country, upon importation, determined that he must pay some customs duties or tax - especially since I would have double my cost (paying for the sending shipment and paying for the back of shipment to me, because the buyer did not pick up the shipment)…. Thank you for your understanding and hope for a successful cooperation.
