Description: Printed on May 10th, 1940, this newspaper covers the German Blitzkrieg through Belgium in order to circumvent the Maginot Line. Though Belgium would fall in just a few weeks, the resistance did buy some time for a French defense. While it only delayed the inevitable, it did show the fierceness of the Belgian defenders even in the on sale face of defeat.
