Tested power, phone charging, paging feature and pushed all buttons which were responsive. New battery installed. Did not test by making any calls as I do not have landline phone service anymore. I will be disconnecting and removing the battery for on sale shipping so the phone does not turn on during transport. It installs into the receiver which twists off.
