Handmade Floral on sale Vintage Handkerchief Pinwheel Applique Quilt

This light weight quilt was machine pieced and machine quilted by me.

Measures approximately 35 1/2 inches by 50 1/2 inches.

The quilt top, back and binding on sale were made with new cotton quilting fabric and broadcloth. Rescued 1980s handkerchiefs were used to make the pinwheel design. They were machine appliquéd on to each quilt square and the centers were embellished with hand sewn buttons. The batting is light weight poly batting.
This quilt has been laundered to ensure the stitches are stable and tight throughout.
