Internals were taken from a brand new set of joycons and swapped over to the new housings. The joycons were only used to test and ensure on sale perfect functionality of all buttons, triggers, control sticks, motion controls, NFC, etc. The joycons will also be recognized as gray by the switch console, switch not included.
