Antique French Market on sale Basket

Very old french market basket. It is made of some type of leathery cardboard type material. As noted in on sale photos the pieces are riveted together so the item is very very durable. It is beautifully decorated with a love-themed comment on one side. Considering the age the market basket is in great condition. Basket is approximately 17 inches wide by 18 inches tall.
