Vintage Oil on Canvas Painting CATHEDRAL OF NOTRE DAME by Alfredo This is a vintage oil on canvas painting of a Paris street scene depicting the Cathedral of Notre Dame. I have been told the artist took some license and put buildings where the Seine should be. The piece is done in the impressionist manner and appears to be street art for the tourist trade. On the back of the canvas it is signed Alfredo Paris '65 with a painters pallet. Also on the canvas is a rubber stamp that i cant make out but there is a art supply store in Paris that has rubber stamps on their canvas. The piece is set in a metal mid century modern frame. I have been unable to identify the specific artist. The frame measures 20" x 24 1/4" sight seen dimensions are 19 3/8" x 23 1/2" Condition: The painting is in on sale excellent condition with no damage and only minor wear. It is ready to hang. 7-8 pounds.
