Galena is a ski lodge I worked at years ago near Trout Lake BC. The trees there were perfect and the misty snow was the stuff dreams are made of. This piece came together so easy, the original was 3' on sale squared and it just exploded out of me in a few evenings of painting. Lots of gestural illustrative lines in here, my eye can bounce around the way I like. I wanted to capture the soft dreamy winter trees found around here in the kootenays.
The original has sold.
