This is an large cabochon of old stock Ocean Jasper. Before the mine was depleted ocean jasper was collected by hand, only at low tide, off the northwest coast of Madagascar. Now it can only be obtained on sale from coveted private
collections. Gorgeous white lacy agate outlines a sparkling cave of white druzy set on a background of green agate with large orbs.

I make all my cabochons by hand in my home studio. Unless otherwise noted all my gems are domed on the front and are flat with a slight bevel on the back for ease of setting. The sides are cut at a slight angle (12.5 degrees off of perpendicular). I polish the front, back and sides of each stone.
