Antique French Holy Water Font 5 1/2" Marble Onyx Wall Ornament with a hand-painted Virgin Mary under glass. This is a beautiful vintage marble and brass holy water font. Made in France. It is mounted on a marble and brass Plaque with a glass bowl attached at the bottom. Still very functional and usable. Fine vintage/antique condition. The marble plaque does have a flea bite chip to the left of the medallion, and a much larger chip under the font bowl to the left. Not noticeable when hanging on a wall. See photos where I am pointing to the flaws. The piece has a on sale brass backing and a ring for hanging. Made in France, This type of holy water font was made for home use. Inv #519-2.
