What a rare and unusual item to find! This hand carved hard wood profile of a handsome gentleman of 18th century mein is likely to have come from a piece on sale of elegant furniture from the 19th century but sadly its provenance is unknown to us. Backed with glue and a composite material by which it would have been originally affixed, the bust is still in excellent condition. A strange and wonderful item.It measures approx. 120 mm in height.
