This mortise lock set was salvaged from an old farmhouse slated for demolition.
Mortise lock measures 3-7/8" high x 3-1/4" deep x 5/8" thick; face plate (broken away) crudely measures 5-3/8" high x 7/8" wide
Round metal door knobs painted white measure 2-1/4" diameter
Rectangular white painted metal back plates measure 7" high x 2-1/4" wide
White painted strike plate measures 3-7/8" high x 1" wide + lip
Whole set weighs approx. 2.0 lbs.

Antique mortise lock door knob set with backplates and striker in damaged condition, selling AS IS, for parts or restoration, and priced accordingly. Mortise lock was damaged in salvage removal; the face plate is broken away, with chunks of the lock housing also breaking during removal. Original patina; finish wear and paint and residue throughout. Both door knobs and both back plates are in good condition, though painted white; one door knob has a decorative rubber cap, age-worn and soiled. Set includes mortise lock, 2 door knobs, 2 back plates, and strike plate. KEY AND SCREWS ARE MISSING. Set appears to be in otherwise good working order aside from the broken lock and face plate.
