Rare and fully natural collector's display specimen of gorgeous banded Pimomo dendritic agate from Nipomo, San Luis Obispo Co., California, USA. The only Nipomo Agate locales were on private land and have been closed to collecting for more than 40 years and old sources are scarce. This high quality, gorgeous and detailed American mineral is a variety of Chalcedony (micro crystalline quartz) with inclusions of Marcasite and golden rod shapes dendrites. The semi-translucent agate gemstone has stunning inclusions in an ombré of golden, ivory, copper, orange, and milky white hues throughout the swirls, plumes and bands of minerals. The front is polished to a glassy shine to show off the intricate details while the remainder of the botryoidal stone is raw and natural. Looks amazing when backlit and also UV fluorescent!
