French 1920s Monkey Piano Player Portrait Painting, Antique on sale Musical Animal Art, Signed and Framed

An enchanting antique French painting of a monkey playing the piano dating from the 1920s. The original art portrait has been painted in gouache paints on paper in a palette of pastel shades. It portrays a monkey dressed in a smoking jacket and plaid pants seated at an upright piano in a music salon. The window of the room is open with a country landscape in the distance. The painting has been signed on the lower right corner with the French artist's initials "CCL3. The painting has been mounted under glass in an antique wooden frame with a green and beige mat board.
Hanging hardware is not included.

Frame: 17.75" Tall on sale x 14" Wide. (45 cm x 36 cm).
Painting: 11" Tall x 7.75" Wide. (28 cm x 19 cm).

CONDITION:
The animal painting is in very good antique condition with light signs of age and wear to the frame. There are some light marks to the mat board.
