SALE: Salt and Pepper Shakers Salt of the Earth Peppery on sale but Patient Japan are Vintage Mom and Dad Hand Painted

This is a very nice set of mom and dad salt and pepper shakers that have hand painted fronts and gold trim.

The dad shaker says, "Dad, your're peppery but patient too" and shows an image of a man in hunting clothing petting his hunting dog.

The mom shaker says, "Mom, you're the on sale salt of the earth" and has a close-up of a woman with a bonnet and period dress.

I'm not sure of the exact vintage of these shakers but I haven't been able to find anything similar in my research so they are very rare and collectible, and pretty old.

They have a sticker on the base that says Made in Japan and have plastic stoppers. They are fully functional.

The condition of this pair is used vintage condition. They have some condition issues including crazing, a slight crack in the dad shaker and some of the gold detail has worn away, but they are excellent for the collector because they are so rare!
