Brass Articulated Piano Reading Desk Task Lamp with on sale Weighted Base • Vintage Antique Art Deco Industrial Design • As Is Untested • Needs Cord

As Is, untested vintage art deco industrial era piano style reading or task lamp with weighted base. Unusual style lamp has a curved neck and extra long tubular lighting unit with ball joint articulation, allowing vertical and side-to-side tilt. The end of the bulb holder has a removeable cap with spring steel flanges to enable the installation of a proper bulb. All parts are patinaed bronze color - likely crafted of brass or brass plating or combo thereof. Maker is unknown; however, lamp has UL Listing and secondary tag from an antique store.

With a little handiwork, this would be nice office lamp or bench lamp for the home craftsperson!

• CONDITION: As found - Requires Repair: unable to remove bulb (which is not correct for this lamp); cord is disintegrating and is severely twisted inside the center rod; ball joint is a bit "saggy" at horizontal position - it may be adjustable internally or could use a "fix" to tighten up; all-over even patina.
