Fira - 8shaft Multipurpose Towels on sale Kit

Fira is the result of my extensive sampling of an all around multi purpose towel.

Fira is a weaving kit for 4 multi purpose towels (or 10 to 12 burp cloths - see more information below). The pattern is fully reversible, meaning, it looks the same on both sides. Multipurpose use such as dishtowel, burp cloth (woven at significantly shorter length), golf bag towel, dust cloth, etc.

This kit contains yarn + weaving draft/instructions created by Petra's Fiber Room.
This draft uses only 4 treadles and is an easy 4 pick pattern repeat.

Choose White Cotton or White Cotolin as weft yarn.

The weaving draft pdf file consists of 7 pages and includes detailed step by step instructions, tips, project calculations, drawdown, heddle count, tie-up, treadling details and pictures.

Kit includes:
Warp Yarn: approx. 3,360 yards (2 cones) of 8/2 Maurice Brassard unmercerized cotton in White for warp and
Weft Yarn: approx. 3,360 yards (2 cones) of 8/2 Maurice Brassard unmercerized cotton yarn in White or 8/2 Maurice Brassard Cotolin in White.

This yarn is extremely soft after wet finishing.

Required:

8-shaft weaving loom with minimum 22" width
4 treadles
1 shuttle
Dimensions on loom: 21.6" wide by various lengths based on your intended use
Washed & hemmed measurements: approx. 18.5" wide by your choice of length.

Difficulty rating: Advanced Beginner
