Georg Jensen Sterling Silver the clip /tie bar in the Viking Ship pattern number 263. This pattern was created by noted designer Harald Nielsen. These were made in the 1940's and are now retired. The clip measures 2 1/8 inches (53mm) long and a bit over a 3/4 inch (18mm) wide. It weighs approx. 14 grams. The clip is in excellent vintage condition and has light toning that makes the Viking Ship pattern really stand out. The piece is fully hallmarked by the Jensen Silversmithy as follows:

1. Georg Jensen in a dotted oval (mark used after 1945)

2. Denmark

3. Sterling

4. Design number 263
