This is a long Basilosaurus tooth that was found in Boujdour (Western Sahara) - Morocco. The tooth type is known as the "cheek tooth". They are called "yoked tooth" because its triangular teeth resemble a line.
the specimen shows excellent details of the oscillating secretions.
This is a rare specimen and hard to come by in this excellent condition.
