This quilt is made in a variation of the traditional Log Cabin pattern. It is made in three shades of pink, and ecru. Each block was done in the traditions style on one of side of the block and the other side was made from one piece of fabric. The traditional style Log Cabin unsualy goes from lightest fabric in the middle of the block to the darkest fabrics on the outside of the block. This varaition makes the zig zag pattern more noticable. The traditional side the block was quilted around the different colors of pink. The side of the block, with only one piece of fabric, was quilted in flower, vine, and butterfly quilted pattern.
This quilt is a perfect give for a girl baby. It is hand quilted using thick batting which makes it luxurious and warm. The binding was machine sewn on front & hand sewn on back with mitered corners
The on sale quilt measured 40" wie by 52" long. This quilt could become a family heirloom.
The quilt is made from 100% cotton fabrics. All fabrics were washed before the quilt was made to prevent shrinkage the first time it is washed.
It was made in a smoke free environment.
It may be machine washed in cold water, gentle cycle, with mild detergent.
A custom Quilt Label is available, if you desire at no extra cost. It is approximately 4"x4" and is attached on the lower back of quilt. It will be machine embroidery in matching colors. A label might include:
