* Description - Antique 1800's, framed print of a lovely young woman sitting on a stone wall. She wears a long blue shoulder gown, tied at her waist, with her blouse draped down one shoulder. Her hand gently,
rests on a tambourine. I believe this is a lithograph, there is no dotting under a magnifying glass. Colors are crisp and clear, with a metallic dark golden color in the background. Popular Monthly is in reverse print, in the on sale gold color, behind her. It's framed with glass, in an antique wood frame, with a primitive wood backing, held in with hand forged nails. The frame is in a dark red and gold color. I found another picture of this, in Frank Leslie's Popular Monthly, Dated 1883, and titled " A Day Dream ". Frank Leslie's Popular Monthly ran from 1876 - 1904 before changing it's name. Printed in the USA.

* Condition - There is a water stains on the left upper side, and lower corners, in the natural beige color. A little bit of waving ripples in the print. The print isn't centered into the frame, it sits a bit crooked. The glass has a funny little textured ripple towards the center, and a scratch at the very bottom of it. The frame has really darken, and could use a better cleaning than what I did. Two paint spots on the wood, one being gray, and the other white. It's a beautiful, primitive looking, piece of art.
