These epaulets are fit armor for a mermaid or man. This pair has double iridescent chains front and back that shift from green to blue to pink. Green anodized aluminum scales are knitted in as I create the fabric of the piece. They are permanently attached with two loops of green acrylic yarn for each scale to keep them from flopping. The knitted base allows these epaulets to drape against the body with complete flexibility. The scales are a brilliant emerald green.
These on sale epaulets measure just over 8" wide and about 5" from point to flat. The point is slightly blunted for more comfortable wearing. These are meant to be sewn onto a jacket or shirt and do not have a backing other than the knitted base. The chains help them stay in place.
