Handcrafted Antique and on sale Vintage Button attached pendant Necklace designed with Glass, Metal, and Mother of Pearl Buttons

A lovely antique thick black glass button featuring a raised cut glass design with silver luster fired on finish sits upon a flattened metal button frame and a lustrous Mother of Pearl Button.

The buttons on sale are not just glued on top of each other .. In the strong connection process holes have been drilled in the metal and Mother of Pearl Buttons so that the glass shank of the glass button can “sit through” . Double strands of beading wire can then pass through this shank and create a secure connection of the buttons and also continue to attach the neck beading of the piece. A little glue is then used only to keep the buttons from shifting to and fro.

The neck beading is done with tiny pyrite stone, a large fresh water Pearl, sterling silver bead caps, very tiny faceted black spinel stones, and black and silver glass.

The lobster clasp is sterling silver.

The neck beading length is 18 inches.
The Pendant is 1 inch wide by 1 inch in length.

Colors are black, silver, iridescent mauve.
