Large Yellow Ware pottery utilitarian mixing bowl made c. 1910-1920's. It is a muted yellow color with a rolled top on sale rim and chocolate brown slip bands, one wide flanked by two thin, surrounding the middle of the exterior. It is a beautiful example and stands testimony to the craftsmanship and durability of Yellow Ware pottery from the period.
It measures approximately 12" in diameter, 5 1/2" tall.
It has a capacity of approximately 4 quarts.
It is in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks or scratches. It does, however, have a few slightly dark or light spots underglaze on the exterior consistent with its age. Please see all photos.
