Can you believe that this charming pair of Disney cats are actually considered “Disney Villains”? They are in a league known as “sinister cats”. Occupying Disney lore with the likes of Shere Khan from ‘The Jungle Book' and Scar from ‘The Lion King'. Formidable company!
In the movie, these two cats are nothing but mischief-makers causing strife throughout the house. They wreak havoc for their own amusement and of course, blame it all on Tramp.
These figurines, made by Wade England, are true to the movie's animation. With their cream-colored fur, dark stockinged-legs and soft blue eyes. The inner portion of the ears is a lovely shade of lavender. (All hand painted). It was eventually revealed in subsequent movies that this duo is female.
They are 1.75” tall x 1.75” wide x 1/2” deep. I could find no glaring issues. I snapped a pic (last photo, 3x magnification) of a rough spot along the bottom of the tailed cat. I am unsure whether it is a manufacturing flaw or a small chip. It is very difficult to see.
There are a few other manufacturing flubs in the paint and glaze; a few rough spots. But, tails, ears, noses - are all excellent! Pretty remarkable given their 60+ years!
Maybe you're a Siamese cat owner. Maybe a Disney fan. Or, even a dedicated Wade collector.
Whatever the reason, these cats are special! Sitting on a shelf in a curio cabinet, they'll remind you to raise a little ruckus - but, in a good way!
