New and never used. The box was opened but the item on sale was never actually used on my hair. I bought this authentic Tyme iron and it just sat in my closet and was never touched! I believe this gray/white marble color is a limited edition called the Stark edition. I uploaded a picture of my email order as proof of authenticity.
