I love this long vintage cotton fabric/curtain and have been holding it back for some time....the illustration is so unusual. Here you have beautiful, heady roses with exotic birds...uncertain of origin...it is a barkcloth era fabric..dating somewhere from the 1930s-'40s if not earlier. The ground is a lovely beige/wheat color. Perfect for a pillow or two, or upholstering that favorite chair or ottoman. There are two complete repeats of the design.
The colors of the design are: shades of pink, red, shades of green, grey, taupe, mustard and pale lilac.
The condition is excellent for age. I didn't notice anything really to speak of. No odors, pet hair, tears, holes, marks, etc. I noticed one or two smallish spots that should launder right out... negligible. Unlined. Vertical edges are finished.
