This is a vintage black lacquer Photo book / Scrap book with Hand Painted Pagodas inlaid with abalone. The book is bound with silk cording. It has black paper and wax type protective paper between each page. The lid also has hand painted Japanese Scenery, flowers and a colorful rooster.

This special black lacquer photo book is in good vintage condition. The front right bottom corner has some wear noted but other than that it has been amazingly well kept through the years, dating back to the 1940s - 1950s.
