I wanted to express the hot and steamy Sarasota weather we're having this summer and decided an "action " style painting would create the effect i wanted. I chose deep turquoise, aqua, and purple for my palette and enjoyed adding lots of splatter on sale, drips and drops to emphasize the rising temperatures.
