Hooked Rug – “Brown Bear” (2018) is my original design and hooked by me on sale a primitive hooking style.

Description: Approx. 10” x 10”, 100% new and recycled wool strips hooked in a #6-cut width onto months cloth. A small mat adds warmth and interest to any room.. Best laying on a tabletop or dresser. Can also be tacked onto a pillow top or framed.
Inspiration: A solitary, wandering brown bear passes through a natural landscape on a fall day. Always on the move, covering long distances in search of food. Especially hungry at the start of the winter hibernation.

This is a completed piece, not a pattern and not hooked with yarn.

You should also know: Completion dates are included to establish provenance, a history and record of a work of art. Labels sewn on the back of each rug also identify the maker, year, rug name and other relevant information.
None of the rugs for on sale sale were ever used on the floor. They are as clean as the day they were made and are created in a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
